Introduction

• The package includes a USA AT&T/GoPhone SIM card. Your first month's credit will be added when you select the plan.
• AT&T's monthly plan has three rate to fit your communication needs: (1) 250 min for $25, (2) Unlimited talk&text for $50, and (3) Unlimited talk&text + 1GB data for $65.
• AT&T has one of the largest national cell phone coverage in the USA. GoPhone works in Hawaii and Alaska as well, and your GoPhone is automatically activate with international roaming service for traveling in Canada and Mexico.
• Your choice of area code (enter the city, state, or zip code of your choice when purchase)
• Hassle-free process: We will activate the SIM card for you before the "departure date" you entered, and all additional credit will be loaded to the account at the same time. All you need to do is plug in the SIM card when you arrive the USA!

Phone requirement

You will need an unlocked (or AT&T-locked) phone that has GSM 850/1900 bands. All North America GSM phones feature GSM850/1900 bands. If your phone is from Europe or Asia, please confirm it is a tri-band or quad-band phone. Please check your phone models (click here) if you are not sure about your phone specs. Please note that Verizon/Sprint/Virgin Mobile phones use CDMA system so they do NOT support GSM (SIM cards), unless it is specified as an international phone.

How to use

Simply insert the SIM card to your phone and turn your phone on. You should see "AT&T" on the screen in a few seconds and then it is ready to use.

• Call to a US number: Dial area code + local number, and press SEND. Example: 919-261-7889.
• Direct International call: Dial 011 + country code + area code + local number, and press SEND. Example: Hong Kong : 011-852-35001326; UK: 011-44-2035195008 (Note: International fee can be very expensive! We recommend using a two-step international calling card, such as our i-Card.)
• Other people to call your USA GoPhone number: Dial 00+1+ your number. Ex: 00-1-919-261-7889. (The international prefix code "00" may varies from country to country.)

AT&T GoPhone has 3 monthly rate plans: (A) 250 min+ unlimited text (B) unlimited talk& text, and (C) unlimited talk& text + 1GB data

Note 1 : After the 30 day period ends, AT&T will automatically deduct the monthly fee from the account and start a new 30-day session. If you don't have enough credit in the account, the account will be suspended until you refill enough credit. 
Note 2 : If you select 30 day plan, we will charge you for the first month's credit. If you want to cover more than one month's credit, please visit our GoPhone refill purchase page for additional credit.

  • AT&T will deduct $50 from your credit every 30 days, and start a new billing cycle. If you don't have enough credit in the account, it will be suspended until you refill enough credit.

  • Please note: AT&T /GoPhone's official policy does NOT support iPhone user's data service, but you may manually configure your iphone's APN to use its data service (See below)
• Plan C: 30day Unlimited Talk&Text + 1GB
  • Pay $65 per 30 days for all of the above in "Plan B", plus 1GB data usage for smartphones.
  • If you use more than 1GB within the 30 days, you will be charged for 5¢/MB usage.
  • Please note: AT&T /GoPhone's official policy does NOT support iPhone user's data service, but you may manually configure your iphone's APN to use its data service (See below)

Other Rates and Cost

• AT&T GoPhone offers feature data packages:
1. 200MB/30 day data usage for $15
2. 1GB/30 day data usage for $25.
• Text messages: domestic text message is covered in the plan. For international text messages: $0.25/message to send, free to receive.
• Picture/ sound messages: $0.25/ message to send/receive a domestic USA text message. $0.50/message to send international message.
• Various cost to download applications, ringtones, games, or cell phone themes.
• 411 directory service: $1.49 fee per call plus calling cost of your rate plan.
• International calls cost varies, see international rates.  Please be informed that direct international calls are expensive, often over $1.50/min. To save money, we recommend to use an international prepaid calling account (e.g. our Dynasky eCard) to make international calls. The rate can be as low as $0.02/min this way.
• 911 fee: varies among states ( depends on the area code you have) Click here to check the fee.

Data Service

• For smartphone (e.g. iPhone) users selecting plan A or B, you must purchase data package to access internet. When the packaged expires, or when reaching 200MB/1GB allowed limit, your data service will stop, until you purchase another data package. For Plan C user, please see above.
• Most phones can use AT&T's GoPhone data service, although additional setting may be required. (Please refer to AT&T's device support page if assistance is needed)
• Important note for Apple iPhone users: AT&T /GoPhone's official policy does NOT support iPhone's data access. iPhone will work fine for voice and messages, but NOT data service. If you plan to use iPhone for AT&T/GoPhone's data service, change your phone settings manually (click here for detail ) may help you bypass the blocking from AT&T. However, please understand that we cannot provide technical support for this issue and we are not responsible for any modification you made on your phone settings.
• Alternative option for iPhone users: T-mobile offers unlimited GPRS data and unlimited voice and text. This is the safest way to use data on your i-phone, even though it's a little bit slower.

Activate your SIM card

We will activated your SIM card 3 day before the "departure date" you entered when purchasing. (Thus, please enter the date wisely.) If you're already in the USA, or want to activate it now, you can enter today's date and we will activate it right away. (Important: upon activation $15 refill credit expires in 30 days from that day on. $25 and $50 expires in 90 days, and $100 expires in 365 days.)

• To check your balance: dial *777# and press < SEND >

Other Notes

• Please specify the city and state you want the phone #'s area code to be.  If you leave it blank, or AT&T doesn't have any available area code in that city, we will activate a Los Angeles phone # for you. AT&T GoPhone is a national plan. Your cost will be the same, regardless of what area code you have.
• A GSM 850/1900 cell phone is required to use AT&T's service. If you're phone was not from USA or Canada, please verify that it covers GSM850/1900 (often referred as tri-band, or quad-band cell phones). You can click here to check phone specs.
• You may use your AT&T/GoPhone in Canada and Mexico (see coverage) but international roaming fee will apply.
• If required by law, local state tax and regulation fee may apply (varies by states), and it will be deducted from your remaining balance).
