Introduction:

Germany Lebara mobile offers you the lowest rate with convenient direct international dialing. One SIM card give your a local Germany mobile phone # (for people to call you) and low cost to make direct international calls to anywhere around the world. It's €0.01/min to call USA,€0.05/min to Canada, €0.09 to most European countries, Australia and New Zealand landlines. Rates to many Asia countries is as low as€0.01/min. The SIM card includes€10 credit (€7.50 upon activation, and €2.50 when you first top up the account) and expires in 90 days (can be extended with further top up).

How to use:

• A GSM900/1800 MHz unlocked cell phone handset is required. Note for North American users: (1) North America uses GSM 850/1900 frequency, thus you need a tri-band/ quad-band phone to travel to Europe. (2) US/Canada wireless carriers often lock their phones to their service. You will need to call them to unlock the phones before you can use any other SIM card on that phone.
• To dial a Germany local phone:  same as using a local Germany phone. For example, dial 030-XXXXXXXX fro a Berlin landline, or dial 0152-xxxxxxx for mobile phone #.
• Direct international dialing: dial 00-(country code)-(area code)-(phone #). For example, to dial a USA/Canada phone #, dial: 00-1-XXX-XXX-XXXX. For cell phone #s or area codes start with "0", omit the first "0". For example, to UK mobile phone # 0755XXXXXXX,  dial:  00-44-755XXXXXXX.
• Friends or family to call your Germany Lebara mobile phone # from abroad: (1)From North America: dial 011-49-XXXXXXXXX (that is, your mobile # started with 1, ignore starting 0) (2) From all other countries: dial 00-49-XXXXXXXXX (also ignore the first "0".  Note: 49 is the country code for Germany).

Rate:

• Connection fee (per call):  €0.09 for Germany domestic calls and €0.15 for international calls
• During current promotion, top up €10 or €15 gives you the bonus of Unlimited Lebara-to-Lebara minute for 14 days (Top up €20 or more gives you 30days, starting from the day you top up the account.) Connection fee may still apply.

If you make a lot of international calls, you can purchase international packages to save even more. Lebara offers 30day 500 min calls to USA/ Canada (both mobile and landline) / UK (landline only) for only€9.90 (deducted from your account credit directly) Here is how to purchase:
(1)Please verify that you have more than€9.90 credit in the account first (dial *141# from your cell phone and then press SEND, follow voice instruction to check balance). If you don't have enough credit, please purchase refill/top up first.
(2)From your Lebara phone, send a text message to 84343 with content: FLAT500
(3)You will receive a text message to confirm that you want to purchase it, reply YES (or JA ) to that message.
(4)You will receive another message to inform you that it's under processing ( Your order will be processed/ bestellung bearbeitet ). Please wait a few moments and do NOT make international calls yet.
(5)After a successful purchase, you will receive another confirmation message (confirmation SMS/  bestätigungs)

International Roaming Rate

Lebara Germany SIM can roam in multiple countries, including all EU countries. Receiving a text message is free, however, you will NOT be able to SEND message while roaming.

Please note:  Lebara Germany top up vouchers are ONLY sold in Germany. If you are traveling in other countries, you must top up the account before leaving the Germany. (unless you have internet access to purchase top up online at www.aerobile.com, or a Germany credit card to add credit on line with lebara.

How to make calls while roaming in other countries: dial 00-(country code)-(area code and/or phone number). For example, to call a USA phone # 987-654-3210, dial 00-1-987-654-3210. To call other Lebara Germany phone # (whether s/he is traveling with you or still in Germany), please dial 00-49-1XXXXXXXX (ignore the 1st "0")

Internet Package

You can purchase a data package by text message. Lebara offers 30 day 500MB data for only €9.90 (deducted from your account credit directly). Here is how to purchase:
(1)Please verify that you have more than€9.90 credit in the account first (dial *141# from your cell phone and then press SEND, follow voice instruction to check balance). If you don't have enough credit, please purchase refill/top up first.
(2)From your Lebara phone, send a text message to 84343 with content: DATA500
(3)You will receive a text message to confirm that you want to purchase it, reply YES (or JA ) to that message.
(4)You will receive another message to inform you that it's under processing ( Your order will be processed/ bestellung bearbeitet ). Please wait a few moments.
(5)After a successful purchase, you will receive another confirmation message (confirmation SMS/  bestätigungs)

After successfully purchased, please also manually configure your cell phone's APN setting as follow:

Expiration date

• 90 days from the last top up date, last call or last SMS sent, the account will be suspended and all credit will be expired.
• Once the SIM expires, you cannot use the same SIM, nor same phone number again. You will have to buy a new SIM.

Top up:

• Lebara top up vouchers can be purchased in wireless stores, grocery stores, supermarkets, gas stations......etc. Alternatively, you may purchase Lebara Germany top up PIN from AeroBile online.
• After aquiring the PIN, dial 5588 from your cell phone, follow the instruction to enter your PIN code.
• Alternatively, dial *131*top up code and then "#", and then press "SEND/OK" to submit a top up request.
• If you have a Germany credit card, you can register on Lebara mobile-Germany website with auto-top up.

Check Balance:

Dial *141# from you handset and then press SENT or OK. Your balance will appear on the screen.

Customer service:

Customer Service dial 5588 from your handset (15 cents connection fee applies. Free for the first 15 min from Lebara Mobile network, then 15 cents /min ). 9AM to 9PM daily.
Dial 0180 501 4391 if you call from landlines. Calls charged at your service provider's rate.
