SIM Activation
- Aerobile will activate the sim and notify you with the Canada phone number a day before your departure
- When you arrive in the destination, insert the sim into your device. Your phone should receive the signal in 3 minutes
- Once activated, please follow the instructions below
SIM Instructions
- Once the simcard received local signal, you can make phone calls and receive SMS
- Most of the phone can automatically configure the Internet settings
If your phone does not work automatically, please follow the APN setting below- APN: Fido-core-appl1.apn (or LTEMOBILE.APN for 4G LTE phones)
- Restart the device to start using Internet
- Voice Calls
- To dial a Canada phone number: Dial as local people with the full Canada phone number
- To make an international call: dial 00+country code+ phone number (omit the 1st "0", if there is one)
- Your friends and family to call you: dial 001-your Canada mobile number. This will be a standard international mobile phone call. Please refer to your local phone carrier for rate or any other calling detail
- If you have any problem using the simcard, please contact us
- Fido customer service: Dial *611 , *46 from your mobile phone or 1-866-888-3436, 1-888-481-3436 from any other phone

Balance Checking
- To know the balance in your simcard, please dial *225
- Refill is available at local supermarkets, gas stations, post office and other stores. You can also refill via Aerobile Fido Refill Page
- The sim is valid for 60 days after activation and will expire if not refill within 60 days. CA$10/CA$30 refill will extend the sim for further 30 days; CA$50, 60 days

Response is fast and reliable, hassle-free, no problem using the sim to get on connection once arrived Canada. Good service on follow up and user-friendly website.
Just the courier service by SF is not so reliable, it took more 4-5 days to deliver the sim card with excuse saying the delivery district is remote but it is not true because their distribution centre is just 10 mins driving distance from my delivery address!! At last, I need to called up the SF customer service hotline 3 times to chase the delivery ( and nearly make complaints) then the sim card finally arrived.
